Vipers Bugloss – Echium vulgare is a pretty wild flower found growing in light or calcareous soils. The whole plant is very bristly with beautiful flowers that open with a hint of pink before turning a brilliant blue. An ancient medicinal plant, it was also thought to cure snake bites. Attractive to bees.
