Coriander – Coriandrum sativum the popular culinary herb. Its fresh young leaves are used in a wide range of recipes. Attractive pale mauve flowers appear during July and August, followed by the seeds which should be gathered and dried in a warm place. Use the seeds in curries and pickles.
